With the removal of the FOH Menu Editor, I have had to install the dashboard app as an alternative on the terminals for many of our sites that used it frequently and have since been updated to the latest version of EdgeServ. This works fine, however it often can not be used as a solution since now anyone can access reports and settings by clicking on the dashboard app. The same applies to sites who have staff members that they want to grant BOH access to add daily specials/make menu changes, but will then have the ability to access all BOH info. If possible, would just like permissions to restrict certain BOH features per job role.

We need timed discounts by item or catagory. Specifically to handle happy hour. We need to add a tag or identifier to the discount to make sure the item is included in the order for the discount being applied. For example: Free Fries discount we need to be certain the Fries are on the order.

Discounts don't show the discount on the item. If the Korbel is $4.50 and I discount 100%, it takes the money of the ticket total, but still shows as $4.50 on the iPad screen.

Can we have an option for modifier items to charge a percentage of the menu item price? For example, if "bourbon" is priced at $10 and "vodka" is priced at $8, we could add a modifier item called "neat" and instead of charging a fixed amount, it'll charge 50% of the menu item price. So in this case, the charge for "neat" would be $5 for "bourbon" and $4 for "vodka."

Need to be able to split a check on a preauth'd tab. Currently its greyed out.

Scale support for weighed items for yogurt shops etc.

I'd like to see Job Roles required when making a new employee. Potentially rename user roles to permissions for clarity. When creating a new user have a drop down box to select job role. Currently you can make a new employee with no job role. Currently you have to make the user, go back in and show commands, edit job roles, etc which is a bit cumbersome. User roles and job roles could potentially be combined into the same thing but maybe thats oversimplifying it.

Please create a cash option for the A920 , some of our customers have reduced drastically charge backs by using A920 when they deliver food . From time to time customers pay cash and it’s an inconvenience comeback to the restaurant to close the order on POS .

We have existing customers on other systems that we would like to convert in the future, as well as new customers who utilize Quickbooks and are looking for an easy way to push

When ipad setting "Auto logout suspended when order in progress" is turned on it should also be suspended during customer checkout. If it times out during customer checkout the customer cant sign or input their tip.
