Kitchen Chit - Multiple Kitchen Names
Corbin Kruser
It would be amazing to be able to change the language of the kitchen printers on the fly. This could be done by adding the ability to have multiple kitchen names. We currently have a situation where the Expo Printer needs to read off in English but the Fryer/Grill needs to print in Spanish.

English and Spanish are close enough to where I've never had a problem with this at our sites, and we have a lot of Bilingual places as most of our office is bilingual. Both languages use Latin letters and also a lot of meat in English has Latin origins like Pork, Beef in French is Buef versus cow and pig, what they don't pick up they learn quickly and you can program the kitchen name to have both with a dash or something like that. All that said translation is that needed I would say try Cheftab as it literally has a translation feature for this exact reason where the Expo can have English and the Line can have Spanish or Chinese which I believe is the bigger / real challenge. I hope this helps.
