We would like the ability to perform a blind cash drop without requiring a physical cash drawer.

When an employee uses multiple terminals, they may process cash sales without opening a drawer. They currently have to perform separate cash drops for each drawer, even if the same employee is using both.

Proposed solution: Before allowing the employee to run their Server Checkout Report, display a keypad requiring them to enter their cash deposit amount. The system should not show their sales totals until the deposit is entered.

The checkout report would then show:

Expected cash

Deposited amount

Difference/overage/shortage

This would maintain the blind drop process while allowing cash to be managed across multiple terminals without requiring separate cash drawers.
